First Post: Warning, this is just a test and has nothing to do with community development!

One of these days I will actually post something related to community development, but for now....something completely different. My love for fishing. Does it get any better than Vermilion Bay Lodge on Eagle Lake?

Very nice Andy! Did you catch all those big fish or did Joe let you hold his?

Over the year's Joe has honed his netting skills well. Granted, he wanted to hold some of those bull perch, but I told him to catch his own.

Gord...I thought about this a bit more and it might be a little painful for Captain Joe, but here is the truth of the matter. You know that picture that Joe uses on his blog page? That happened on a morning in which I caught two very nice trout in trout hole #2 (one of them is pictured on this blog). Joe struggled a bit, but he did a nice job of netting both. Yes, he almost botched the first one, when it was a bit big for the net, but he improved on fish #2. When my reel started singing for the third time....I let him take my rod as a reward for his netting job. It was a tremendous fish indeed. As your fishing board shows, Joe took Peter and I back down to the trout holes in 2008. He insisted that we take turns catching fish on what ever rods happened to start singing. We each caught a 30"+ trout. Mix in some unbelievable walleye fishing, a few pike and some whitefish and Vermilion Bay ends up being a great trip!
